In der nachgelagerten Bleiraffination werden die bei der Kupfergewinnung noch vorhandenen Nebenbestandteile wie Blei, Wismut, Antimon und Tellur abgetrennt und als Feinblei, Blei-Wismutlegierung, Antimon- und Tellurkonzentrat vermarktet.
Die Edelmetalle werden in einem sogenannten Reichblei, das ca. 70 % Edelmetalle enthält, aufkonzentriert.
