Der Grund, warum ich nach Taiwan gekommen bin, war nicht weil ich vorher schon das Leben in Taiwan besonders wahrgenommen oder gemocht hätte, der grundlegendste und wichtigste Grund war einfach, dass ich mit meiner taiwanischen Freundin ( und jetzt Ehefrau ) zusammen sein wollte.
Wenn sie keine Taiwanerin, sondern Japanerin oder Thailänderin wäre, dann wäre ich nach Japan oder Thailand gegangen.
