This agreement contains provisions concerning the missions to be carried out by the Eurocorps within the NATO framework, competences with regard to the planning of commitments and the Eurocorps ’ subordination to a NATO command authority.
In principle, this ensured that the Eurocorps would be available for NATO missions.

In diesem Abkommen finden sich Ausführungen über die Aufträge des Eurokorps im NATO-Rahmen, die Kompetenzen bezüglich der Einsatzplanung und die Unterstellung des Eurokorps unter eine NATO-Kommandobehörde.
Im Prinzip war damit sichergestellt, dass das Eurokorps für NATO-Einsätze zur Verfügung steht.
