Zu Beginn nimmt ein Mensch die Sicht des vom Glauben inspirierten Lebens mit einem Akt des Gehorsams und des Vertrauens an.
Durch einen Prozeß der Verinnerlichung , in dem die Vernunft und der Wille eine große Rolle spielen , wird dann der Glaube an Christus mit tiefer Überzeugung angenommen , und man erfährt eine harmonische Übereinstimmung zwischen dem , was man glaubt und hofft , und den geheimsten Sehnsüchten der Seele , unserer Vernunft , unserer Gefühle .
So gelangt man zur Vollkommenheit des geistlichen Lebens, wenn die Wirklichkeiten des Glaubens Quelle inniger Freude und wirklicher und zufriedenstellender Gemeinschaft mit Gott sind.
