Wissenschaftliche Laufbahn und Forschungsgebiete
Die Forschungsaktivitäten von Prof. Lewalter (*1965) richten sich aus einer motivationalen Perspektive auf die Analyse der Bedingungen, Prozesse und Ergebnisse des Lernens und Lehrens in und außerhalb des Schulunterrichts, sowie das Förderpotential der Integration außerschulischer Lernumgebungen wie u.a. Museen, Science Center und Schülerlabore für den Gymnasialunterricht in Hinblick auf Lernen und Motivation.
Ein weiterer Arbeitsschwerpunkt liegt auf der Bildungsforschung und der Evaluation in informellen Lernsettings.

The research activities of Prof. Lewalter (b. 1965) involve analyzing the conditions, processes and results of teaching and learning inside and outside the school environment from a motivational perspective.She also examines how out-of-school learning environments like museums, science centers and student labs can support learning and motivation at secondary schools.
