The Global Reporting Initiative ( GRI ) has devised a set of standards to help companies communicate their own sustainability performance and ensure that universal standards are used internationally .
The guidelines amount to several hundred pages, and the topics covered are of varying relevance to users, depending on their situation.

Er betont , dass die GIZ ihren Bericht als eines der ersten Unternehmen nach den erst im Mai 2013 erschienenen G4-Richtlinien der Global Reporting Initiative erstellt habe und lobte :
„Wir gratulieren Ihnen zu einem ganz hervorragenden Bericht!“
