Dieser Workshop hat eindeutig gezeigt, dass die Verständigung mit dem Islam bzw. islamisch geprägten Kulturen nicht nur grundsätzlich wichtig ist, sondern auch und gerade im Bereich der Ingenieurausbildung und technischer Berufe einen hohen Stellenwert einnimmt.
Auf einem Open Day wurden die Ergebnisse der „ Winterschule “ der Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt .
Neben Vertretern der UDE, der Stadt Duisburg, der örtlichen Industrie und islamischer sowie christlicher Kirchenvertreter wurde diese Veranstaltung auch von Vertretern der HRK und der indonesischen Botschaft in Berlin besucht.
