Dabei stärkt es das Ministerium in seiner Rolle als Focal Point der Klimarahmenkonvention der Vereinten Nationen ( UNFCCC ) sowie als federführende Institution der nationalen Klimaschutzpolitik .
Das Vorhaben macht Informationen für eine fundierte Entscheidungsfindung verfügbar und bereitet sie für den politischen Prozess auf.

In so doing , it is developing the capacity of the ministry not only in its role as focal point of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change ( UNFCCC ) but also as the institution responsible for domestic climate protection policies .
The project supplies information needed as a basis for sound decision-making and prepares this information for use in the political process.
