So nahm er für Hustlers ( 1990 – 1992 ) männliche Prostituierte in minutiös inszenierten Settings auf, während er in seiner wohl bekanntesten Serie Heads ( 2000 – 2001 ) New Yorker Passanten völlig ahnungslos in einer Alltagssekunde festhielt.
Neben den Werkgruppen Streetwork (1993–1999), Lucky 13 (2004) und A Storybook Life (1975–1999) wird die in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Künstler entstehende Ausstellung in der SCHIRN auch Arbeiten des momentan in Entstehung begriffenen Projekts East of Eden der Öffentlichkeit präsentieren.
