Zwei berühmte Orte der italienischen Künste ( Venaria als königlicher Sitz bewohnt vom Haus Savoia und die Vatikanischen Museen als Ort der besten Auslese großer Kunst ) werden so für gute fünf Monate in diesem Jahr 2013 zusammengeführt.
In den Stanzen des Raffaels, im Herzen der „ Museen des Papstes ", weist uns ein geflügelter Engel zur Betrachtung des Bergs Parnass, wo der Gott der Dichtung und Schönheit, Apoll, Zither spielt und dabei von den Musen als Stellvertreterinnen aller Künste umgeben wird.

The wooden wainscot was probably destroyed following the Sack of Rome in 1527 and in its place, during the pontificate of Paul III ( pontiff from 1534 to 1549 ) a wainscot in chiaroscuro was painted by Perin del Vaga.
