Ziel der Vereinigung Ajer – Association des jeunes en situation de rue ist es, eine gewisse Ordnung in den Tagesablauf zu bringen, aber auch die Kommunikation zu fördern, einen Dialog zu entfachen und sich gegenseitig zu helfen.
Durch tägliche Treffen und gemeinsam verfasste Regeln, wurde die Vereinigung zu einer Art spontaner Selbsthilfe, zu einer Plattform neuer Möglichkeiten und gegenseitiger Solidarität, um das tägliche Elend und die harten Bedingungen des Straßenlebens abzumildern.
Als filmische Explosion in Form einer Vielzahl an Projektionen und Bildschirmen, ist Bakroman eine hybride und vielschichtige Arbeit, in der sich die Bilder der Association des jeunes und ihrer internen Gruppen überlapppen und immer wieder mit den fließenden Dialogen und biographischen Bruchstücken aus dem Hier und Jetzt überschneiden.

The association itself is a form of spontaneous first aid association, constituted by daily reunions, meetings and collective rules.It resembles a platform of reciprocal opportunity and solidarity, attempting to reduce the permanent emergency situation that arises in consequence of the difficulty of street life.
Broken up into a multiplicity of projections and screens, Bakroman is a hybrid and multi-layered work, in which images from the social life of the association and the various factions in it emerge and overlap with each other, along with snatches of conversation between the adolescents during their long days on the street and other biographical fragments drawn from their everyday lives.
